Our most recent addition to the team is Joe Machin:- Having started playing golf
at 5, I have had many great experiences on a golf course and knew, from a very
early age that I would like to pass this enthusiasm onto people through
coaching. I have been very lucky to develop my golfing career over the past 5 years. Having started my golfing career at Barlaston Golf Club, I was offered an opportunity to work with American Golf. During my time with them I was able to develop my fitting training and achieve multiple fitting qualifications with a range of brands. I won multiple incentives, being invited to partake in the AG Ryder cup at the Brabazon. However, the highlight came when I won the biggest incentive that the company offered, winning a VIP trip to the 2017 Masters tournament. I left American Golf to work at Astbury Golf club in Cheshire and started my PGA Degree in 2019, of which I am now starting my 2nd year. I have a particular enthusiasm towards short game and putting coaching, and look to become a full time Putting and Short Game Coach when qualified. In putting sessions, I use a "SAM Puttlab" which highlights 28 putting parameters to help to identify every detail of the putting stroke and maximise performance development. Alongside this, I love to build clubs and tweak existing sets, from re-grips to re-shafts, loft and lie alterations and swing weight changes I am happy to turn to any job that’s needed. |
